Angelos Pizza in Buxton

They get 2 stars simply because they have decent pizza and friendly employees. My biggest complaint is the wings I got the other day. I ordered buffalo wings. What I got were some uncoated, unseasoned, frozen wings that were way overcooked, I'm assuming oven cooked and left in a heater. and so lightly tossed in Buffalo that I literally could not taste it. Literally the worst wings I have ever gotten from a restaurant.

A cool little family-friendly joint with great food and a game room! We ordered chicken wings, pizza, and calzones! All of it was tasty, fresh, and above expectation. 🍕 This place just might have the most perfect pizza crust I've ever had - and two others from our party agree! 🍕 We are already talking about our next trip here! This is a must stop place if you're looking to eat in Buxton!

This place was just what we needed for a family lunch on our road trip north. Not too busy, friendly staff, good variety of food not just pizza.

Yummy food with video games and beer

Nothing is made ahead of time so be prepared to wait a few minutes when you order. Food is better than the average.

Amazing food and great staff. In the top 3 best cheese burgers I have ever had. Look forward to visiting again. The arcade was nice too and the whole place even bathrooms was very clean!

The fish sandwich was great.I couldnt tell who was managing or if anyone was. I waited 45mins on 2 fish sandwiches, onion rings and sweet potatoe fries....was def not happy with suger and cinnamon on my fries and not notified even though i stated this was my first visit. Staff running back and forth never changing gloves after opening doors. No face masks regardless of the state and county mask requirement. Def worth trying but if you go during peak hours expect a wait for all the call in orders ahead of you. A few management tweaks would help speed of service and customer satisfaction. Very friendly staff. Offered me ice cream for my wait. Was told chips come with the sandwich but when i got my food no chips. Asked for chips and then was told its for dine in only and only recieved one bag.

First time eating at Angelo's, and probably the last. I ordered lasagna for $11.95, it was a very small portion, and it was soggy....which I'm not sure how that's possible. However, i did get jalapeno poppers and they were very delicious. The older female working the register was not polite when we ordered but they were busy so she may have been stressed. I also overheard a child tell a worker that one of the arcade games had stopped working. The worker told the child to "unplug it for 30 seconds and then see what happens" instead of addressing the issue themselves. I felt that could be hazardous.

This place was good and the prices were just right, go there if you get the chance

Has really good pizza and wings. Oh the chicken tenders remind be of when I was a kid at my favorite restaurant when I was kid. They do have an Arcade. Which right now as of this review is closed. You can not eat inside. Take out only. COVID-19 review. If your done here you have to try the pizza.

Placed order at 7:for 8:40 pickup. It was ready at 9:00. It went down hill from there....

Great service. Food was great. Ordered pizza, jalapeno peppers and beacon cheese fries. All the food was cooked well and delicious.

There were 2 of us and we only ordered a pizza. We were asked to be patient since they backed up. Ok no issue. There was a party of 12 that came in after us and placed 6 orders including a pizza. 8 of the 12 were served before us including their pizza. After waiting 30 minutes, I went up front and was told it would another 30 minutes. I asked why the people who ordered after us were served 1st including a pizza and was told they ordered before me. I very clearly advised her they entered the restaurant after us, were standing behind us when we ordered and they ordered after we sat down.

The calzones are huge and delicious! We go every year on vacation. My husband loves the Italian sub!

Great pizza,sub was also fast delivery.

It took over a hour to get our food, as we watch other go in and out with their food. Ok arcade.

Pizza was excellent. We are outside because rona. Kids wanted to drive back the next day all the way from Nags Head.

Haven't been in Angelo's in many years, the pizza was hot, the dough / crust was good. It was busy but didn't wait long for the food. If you have kids, it's great entertainment while waiting to go into the game room. The bathroom was clean, which I always take note, for if it's a clean bathroom, you 99% of time can be sure the kitchen is thats preparing your food, so thumbs up" and hope to not be rushing next time and try a few other items on the menu. Definitely a stop for a good, hot pizza"

That was one of the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches I've ever had. Tasted so fresh and handmade. Quality ingredients and very pleased.

Long wait for mediocre food. Overpriced, even for the area. 5 bucks for a plain hot dog. The game room is the ONLY redeeming quality.

This is a nice little pizza place that also has a game room and ice cream service right inside. It was a little pricey (last night it was $33 for two smalls with a couple toppings after a $4 tip even though I was just picking it up) but it was good. We tend to like independent pizzerias a lot and this was a good find on vacation. Crust was good, sauce was pretty good, cheese and toppings were solid.

Delicious! New York style pizza hot & gooey with cheese. Fold to eat it and lick your fingers when you're done. We also got a cheesesteak sub that was HUGE! It was also delicious and depending on your appetite can make two meals with a to-go box. Cheesy breadsticks also yummy and garlicky. Friendly staff and outside seating options. A must try in Buxton!

First time we ate here but will not be the last. Geeat pizza and the 2 girls working the front were very sweet and they worked so well together. A must try!

Great family pizza place! This very casual pizza place has an extensive menu and also does take out. They have all of the classics: pizza, subs pasta and more. The service is fast and friendly too. They also have a 'secret' arcade room in the back with some great video game consoles for the kids. Our pizza was nice and gooey too! You can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

We ordered from here all 3 nights we were in town. The service was always friendly, the food was always very tasty, and the order was always right. The ham and cheese sub and onion rings were great and the pizza hit the spot. The food is a bit pricey, but it is practically in the middle of nowhere out in the Atlantic Ocean so I get it. It was worth it. There is also a mini arcade in the room off the dining room. It's perfect for the kids...and for the adults who like video games ;)

Love the pizza! This was probably the best pizza I have had I a while. We decided to check the place out or first night at the beach to make things easy. They were busy, but we got a booth. The arcade was perfect to keep kids entertained. Can't wait to go back on our next visit. Thank you Angelo's!

I just grabbed a take-out pie, but the pizza was great. Loved the layout and arcade. Was surprised they had some good beer on draft, but that really made me want to support them for carrying local craft beer. Angelo's will be a regular stop when I am down this way.

Great place for the family to enjoy! The restaurant has some great options for pizza lovers, especially those who have gluten issues. The gluten free pizza is delicious! Service and staff is fantastic!

Had a pizza the first night we arrived at Frisco on a recommendation of a family member. The pizza was spot on. Looking at the to go menu we saw the salads. We decided to try the salads the second day after all the carbs on first night. Some of the best salads we have ever had!! Will easily get two or more meals out of the antipasto and house salads.

Stopped into Angelo's while visiting Cape Hatteras area. Great pizza and venue for family fun. Huge game room and pizza selection and service were great. Will return when we return to the cape.
